Cleansing Herbal Tea

Credit: Nigel Parry

I make this cleansing tea on the weekends using a blend of herbs from the mini garden I have at home. Feel free to personalize it with different herbs and swap in alternative sweeteners like agave.

INGREDIENTS

⅓ cup fresh oregano

⅓ cup fresh sage

⅓ cup fresh mint

⅓ cup fresh rosemary

⅓ cup fresh thyme

Instructions

1. Pick your fresh herbs and place them in a teapot.

2. Bring 4 cups water to a simmer then pour the water over the herbs.

3. Cover and let step for 5 minutes.

4. Strain into four warm teacups and serve.
